No one really wants to talk about Hemorrhoids. However, three out of four adults will experience this condition in their lifetime. Pain, itching, irritation, and bleeding may all be signs of hemorrhoids and the embarrassment of talking to anyone about this can be overwhelming. Because of the personal nature of hemorrhoids, the doctors at Hunterdon Gastroenterology want you to feel comfortable getting treatment. You’ll find your HGA physician compassionate, sensitive, and easy to talk to without embarrassment. When you’re ready to get relief from your hemorrhoids, then it’s time to see Hunterdon Gastroenterology for the patented CRH O’Regan System. This highly effective, minimally invasive banding procedure is performed in less than a minute. The procedure requires no prep and no anesthesia and is done right in the office.
Why is CRH better?
• Multiple hemorrhoids are treated in separate visits to ensure a low complication rate – less than 1%
• More than 99% of patients report no post-procedure pain • Can treat approximately 95% of all hemorrhoid patients
• Smaller instruments for greater comfort and faster treatment
What to expect
Your physician will examine you and confirm your diagnosis. If they determine a CRH System hemorrhoid banding procedure is right for you, treatment may begin right away or on a subsequent visit or visits. During the brief and painless banding procedure, your physician will use a single-use, gentle suction device – unlike the harsh metal clamps used in other banding treatments – to place a small rubber band around the base of the internal hemorrhoid where there are no pain-sensitive nerve endings. The whole thing typically takes less than 60 seconds. No need to suffer in silence or feel embarrassed! The doctors at HGA are ready to help you with the relief from hemorrhoids today!
